History
The very first idea of the band was in summer 2000 when Kalle and Sami thought it would be nice for a change to play something different than cover songs. The original idea was to find right people in a right state of mind who could actually get along and write good music.
Late year 2000 Clayskin was born with it's first lineup:
Sami Koskinen - vocals
Jami Takala - guitar
Robin Jansson - bass
Kalle Saarinen - drums
After first year Robin Jansson was replaced by Eerik Rantapere, who took the bass playing duties. Couple of months later, rehearsing was done and we began recording our first CLAYSKIN demo 2002.
2003 - Veikko Wahlroos joins the band
2004 - Clayskin records first official Ep: Red Dust Rising
2005 - Veikko Wahlroos is let go for personal reasons
Otto Tyyskä joins the band and is part of the current lineup:
